The Town of Silverhill is located between the larger cities of Robertsdale and Fairhope connected by State Hwy. 104. Although there's significant farming within the Silverhill area, it is also a popular place for folks who want a more rural or small-town location to call home.

According to Silverhill's history website, "The history of Silverhill, Alabama, begins in 1896 when Svea Land Company of Chicago decides to estasblish a Swedish farmiing colony in central Baldwin County. In 1909, the first Czechoslovakia settlers migrate to an area southwest of Silverhill to begin a Bohemian colony." This history is celebrated each April with the Silverhill Heritage Day Festival.

The town is small and very community oriented, with seasonal parades and ongoing special events that can learned about on the calendar of the Town of Silverhill website. There are also a variety of churches and small businesses adding to the town's quality of life.
