According to information published in April 2019 on al.com, Baldwin County is the largest and fastest growing county in the state, resulting in being the fifth largest in population. (It's anticipated that it will become the fourth largest within another two years.)
Because it's such a large county, there is no one answer about what properties are like in the county. As a result, there's something for everyone!
Baldwin County offers an assortment of waterfront with bays on both sides of the county (Mobile Bay and Perdido Bay), the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and assorted streams, creeks, rivers and interior bays. All these water options make it a favorite for those who enjoy boating, fishing and swimming.
The county is growing economically with increases in small industries, tourist and recreational attractions, and an abundance of retail offerings. All this means a variety of jobs, which comes in handy when wanting to buy a house.
The schools in Baldwin County also have a high reputation, with a lot of folks with children in school living in Baldwin County for the schools even if they work in Mobile or Pensacola areas.
